Getting to see your child flourish and Excel at all the things that you taught them. Sometimes just watching them grow and adopt new personalities is rewarding enough. Seeing the familiar parts in your child that remind you of yourself. Knowing you made a positive impact on them.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
The kid deserves that. My dad was a good dad. If I can be better than him, imagine what that can do for my child. Creating a tradition of love and stability to pass down, could only create a strong family line and morale I imagine. If you want your kids to succeed, be the best kind of support that you can be for them. Imagine a world where we have celebrities and superheroes but your child still chooses you as their role models and biggest inspirations. Who wouldn't rather be their child's hero?
