Being part of my kids routine. When they show off a new thing or being with each other while reading and relaxing. I'm lucky enough to do their mornings before school and i just love it. My son loves to give me a daily weather report. My daughter likes to hear about her outfit for the day. We have come up with some really great styles. She's so creative. I also like hearing about their "bummers" and things that they are frustrated with. Letting them know that things are tough at times.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Well I don't always but I definably try. It feels opposite of what I thought it would be like as a dad. I just want my kids to be proud of me and I hope the same for them. They just have great hearts and empathy for at least 80% of time time. I want other kids to see I'm a good dad too. I've learned a lot of what I don't want to be. Kids deserve someone they can relate with, have fun with and go to when they need help. I want to be someone that my kids and others can trust and help anytime.
How would you use the $25,000?
BIKES and snowboard lessons!!!... I would get the family a whole new bike set up along with Bike carrier for the good Old mini- van. New snowboard gear for kids too. They are growing so much and have moved to the next sizes. I didn't have much time to get them out on hills the last couple years but they have said they really want to get rippin and shreddin gnar. Overall I'd love to do more experiences than things. probly some root beer floats mixed in there for sure.
