Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because I didn’t have the best example as a kid. I’ve always wanted the traditional relationship with a father but he was either incapable or unwilling. What I learned from having my own son was that it takes no effort to be present. To choose your child. To decide that their happiness is most important. I want to be what my dad wasn’t for me for him.
How would you use the $25,000?
Put it towards a good trade school so he could break the family mold and do something. With his life. Invest in streaming equipment so he can do it more professionally. Get him clothes for school and finally show him what life on offense could look like. Rather than waking up and having to defend against whatever is coming that day. I don’t want to survive anymore. But I also am aware 25k won’t change that instantly. I just want to be able to not worry about his future
