As I got older I understood my failures and weaknesses more and more, and daily I said this prayer: "God why would you want to love me, I fail at doing good for you always!" Then one day a little baby girl was born- she was my first and my only child. God answered my prayer with this baby by giving me a love that I never knew before- now I know why God loves me His child with a love without measure! The Greatest reward...
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best Dad for my 9 year old daughter's benefit, and it is my way to say "thank you" to my earthly father my dad and to my Heavenly Father my God. I strive to be the best dad because today- men and fathers are frequently dis-respected or looked down on. In a world where masculine manhood is treated as "toxic," in a climate where dads are "second class parents" in the legal system- it is more important now than ever for me and for all dads to be the best men & dads we can be!
How would you use the $25,000?
I earn a living for my daughter by selling ranches- I need my F-250 diesel pickup truck to do that.The National Association of Realtors says that 74% of realtors have sold ZERO in the last year.To "stay in the game" I have had to take out loans, to give my clients the best advertising and resources possible. My truck recently had $9,000 worth of mechanical repairs because of the massive driving I do- It's extra hard right now and this $25k award would help me tons in my duty to pay our bills.
