Watching the kids grow. They have such unique perspectives on life. Yes I like to be their hero, but they are mine. Seeing the color of their hearts and watching them grow into loving, responsible humans is such a huge reward. Sometimes I wonder if they are actually mine LOL. I have them from 7 - 23 and the older ones surpris us with their work ethic and positive morales why the little ones remind us of the simple things and life and its important to get on their level and just love so authentic
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
The world is not an easy place. Things have changed so much even in my lifetime. Coasting in this life will get you no where but to disappointment. My dream is for them to pursue their dreams and to be a positive influence in society. I believe a candle loses nothing by lighting another candle, in fact it gains spark, warmth and light. I hope my kids can adapt that philosophy and pursue their dreams at the same time. I believe this will not only make their lives better, but those around us all.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would love to tell you a family vacation but for us its not a reality right now. We have sunk everything into our old home the last 7 years and we are struggling financially. Plus, our yard is still just dirt. Our home was built in the late 30's, its windows are terrible and the swamp cooler and wall furnace barely keep up with seasons. Being in S. Utah, the summers are brutal and the swamper doesn't work well. I would love to finish our yard, put in mini splits and upgrade our windows. TY ACE
