The best part of being a dad is seeing the world completely renewed through your child’s eyes. It is the fierce, unmatched warmth of a tiny hand slipping into yours, and the sound of pure belly laughter when they see you walk through the door. You get to watch a brand-new human discover joy, resilience, and curiosity, all while realizing that your heart now lives entirely outside your body. It is the hardest, most beautiful privilege to be their ultimate safe harbor.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad i can be because i know my actions shape the futures of my kids. I want to be my kids safe place and somewhere my kids can come back to even when they grow up. I want to be the best for them because they need a role model and a rock they can come to. I want be the best dad so my kids can be kids as long as possible and not have to grow up into the harsh world. I remember what it felt like to need someone at times and i want my kids to come to me first every time.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would open my kids a 529 and invest for there future. Then i would take them to menards and we would get some lumber and build them their dream playset! Then take them on our weekly ice cream and mozzarella stick date night at Applebee’s. Then let them pick out there favorite marvel costumes and buy them a bunch so we can be Hulk and Spidey.
