The most rewarding part of being a dad is sharing and teaching what truly matters—how to become the best man possible. It’s showing your children, day by day, how to show up for family, how to stand steady for them, and above all how to care for their mother with respect and consistency. Those quiet, repeated lessons eventually become the way they move through the world. Watching that take root is the deepest satisfaction.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because that is how I set my son up for success in life. The strongest gift I can give him is the example I live every day—showing him what responsibility, integrity, and steady care for family look like in practice. When I do that well, I hand him a clear model he can follow long after I’m gone.
How would you use the $25,000?
We would invest the $25,000 directly into our farm to help ensure Kodiak’s long-term success. Part of the money would go toward buying cows to strengthen our livestock operation. The rest would help us build and equip our farm-stand so we can better serve the local community in Hawkins County, Tennessee.
