The most rewarding part of being a dad is not any single milestone. It's the daily choice to show up, be fully present, and without exception. I have two boys, and watching them grow up side by side, look out for each other, and become absolute best friends right before my eyes is something no words can truly capture. Knowing that I made the choice every single day to be really there for all of it, every laugh, every moment, every memory. That is everything.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my boys are always watching. Everything I do teaches them something. I want them to grow up with real confidence, to be brave enough to try, and to feel completely safe expressing who they are without hesitation. When a child feels that secure at home, they can focus on what being a kid is really about. Growing, laughing, and having fun. That is the greatest gift I can give them.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would split the $25,000 in a way that creates real meaning for our family. A portion would go toward each of my boys as the start of their investment accounts. Teaching them early that money can grow and work for you is one of the greatest lessons I can pass on. The rest would go toward a family vacation, something memorable we can all share together and talk about for the rest of our lives.
