The most rewarding part about being a dad is knowing that when I’m down a hug or laugh from either of my girls will pull me right out of whatever is eating at me. Hearing daddy is home as I walk in the door and the big hugs when I walk through the door are the best part of my days. It doesn’t matter if it’s daily or if I’ve been on the road for days, every time I hear that my heart melts.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best I can be so that my girls see what it’s like to be loved and that they are truly the only ones that matter and that I love spending all my time with them even when they tell me I’m being annoying or I’m not funny.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would pay off debt and invest the rest in my children’s future whether that is paying for them to dance or helping them in the future when they are studying post secondary education to allow them to focus on their career choice before having to worry about real bills and choices adults have to make and be responsible for.
