Being the steady, safe place my girls come home to. After we lost their big sister, what rewards me most is the quiet trust — Rivera opening up at bedtime, Alloa's jokes in the car, Havana climbing into my lap. Watching them laugh again, grow in confidence, and know they're loved no matter what is everything. Every meal made, every appointment kept, every hard conversation is worth it the moment I see them feel safe enough to just be kids.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because my daughters have already faced more loss than any child should. I strive to be their constant — the one who shows up, keeps his word, and puts their well-being first, every time. Rivera, Alloa, and Havana deserve to grow up steady, confident, and sure they are loved. Being that for them is the reason behind everything I do.
How would you use the $25,000?
I'd pay down the debt that currently drains money away from my daughters every month. Clearing it frees up steady cash for what matters most — grief therapy for all three girls, activities that rebuild their confidence, nutritious meals, and a cushion so a hard month never disrupts their care. Less debt means more of every paycheck goes exactly where it should: to Rivera, Alloa, and Havana.
