Seeing my kids reactions when I walk through the door after a long day! Their excitement and enthusiasm makes the hardest work days easier. I can be in the middle of a stressful week and when my kids come sit with me and tell me all about their day it brings me such peace. It reminds me what’s really important in life!
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because that’s the legacy I want to leave! My kids won’t remember what deal I closed, hours worked a week, or job promotions. However, they will remember the time I spent with them, trips we went on, and memories we made together!
How would you use the $25,000?
Me and my family have a competition BBQ team called, “Johnny Mac Wells Smokehouse”. We compete in various BBQ competitions and also use our cooking talents to feed our community multiple times a year, at no cost. The $25,000 would allow us to upgrade some of our cooking equipment to feed more people and have a bigger outreach in the community we live in!
