The most rewarding part of being a dad is getting to experience life through my kids’ eyes. Watching them grow, seeing their personalities develop, and being there for all the big moments and the little ones in between is something I wouldn’t trade for anything.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because I know just how precious being a dad truly is. Four years ago, we experienced the unimaginable loss of our firstborn, and that loss changed the way I look at life and fatherhood forever. It taught me never to take a single moment for granted. I want my kids to grow up knowing, without a doubt, how deeply they are loved and how proud I am to be their dad. I want to be present for the big moments, the little moments, the laughter, and the adventures.
How would you use the $25,000?
If I won $25,000, I’d use it to give my family something money can’t usually buy, more time together and unforgettable memories. After everything our family has been through, I’ve learned that experiences and time together are worth more than anything. I’d want to give my kids a trip where we could forget about schedules and everyday responsibilities and just be together.
