What is Super Dad?
Learn MoreWhat's the most rewarding part about being a dad?
The most rewarding part of being a dad is getting to watch my kids as the grow develop each of their own unique personalities and talents. Then recognizing which parts of them they take after me or their mama. I know the skills, family values and life experiences I am teaching them will be my legacy. A life built of purpose.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My father was a great example for me. Family first. I want to always be that stable figure in their lives they can always trust and rely on even as they become adults. A real example for my boys and daughters to work hard, love others and be kind. Some day I will be gone and I want the stories told about me by my kids is that dad was loving, and adventurer, he was funny, fun and he would do anything for us. Simply that our dad loved us with everything he had.
How would you use the $25,000?
On top of being a full time Chief of Police, I run a small remodel company to help our family. Money is tight and currently I borrow my sons pick up for projects since our family SUV doesnt carry material and tools as easy. I would likely use the money towards a pickup or even a small enclosed trailer for my business to haul tools. Naturally part of the money would have to go to a fun family trip. We have wanted to visit the east coast so that would be a must to be a super dad:)
