The most rewarding part of being a dad is watching my kids grow. I love being present for the struggles, encouraging them when things are hard, and seeing the pride on their faces when they turn those struggles into successes. Also, a lemonade stand isn’t just a project — it’s something I helped build so my kids can have fun. A Halloween decoration isn’t just a decoration — it’s Dad turning the house into something magical. A 3D-printed toy isn’t just something I printed for just them.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because I want to be a positive role model for my kids and show them what a good dad and husband looks like. I want to give them the support, encouragement, and love they need to become good people themselves. Most of all, I want to earn their love and respect—and hopefully never outgrow those hugs and kisses. Overall goal would be to have my kids call me up, way in the future, and look back at their childhood and thank me.
How would you use the $25,000?
Being a dad is my favorite excuse to build something for my kids and family, so I’d likely be investing in some new tools to be ready for that next project to light up my kids eyes!
