The most rewarding part of being a dad is watching my son grow, learn, and discover new things every single day. Seeing the excitement on his face when he experiences something for the first time makes me appreciate the little things in life all over again. I especially love being outside with him—exploring, going on adventures, playing, and introducing him to things that I’ve already experienced in my own life. In a way, I get to relive those moments through his eyes.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because I know my son is watching and learning from the example I set every day. The world is changing fast, and sometimes it feels like it’s changing for the worse. I want to teach him that even when life is difficult or uncertain, you can choose to stay positive, treat people with kindness, work hard, and do the right thing. I want to show him through my actions what it means to be strong, adventurous, caring, and present.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the $25,000 to invest in my son’s future while also creating meaningful experiences together now. A portion would go toward his college education, giving him a head start when that time comes. I would also use some of it for travel and adventures together. I truly believe travel is one of the best ways to learn and grow. Experiencing new places, cultures, people, and the outdoors teaches lessons you can’t always learn in a classroom.
