The most rewarding part is getting to experience life all over again through my son’s eyes. He’s still a baby, so every smile, laugh and little discovery feels huge. I get to watch him become a person while realizing I’m becoming a new version of myself, too. Nothing compares to making him smile and knowing that, to him, Mom and Dad are his whole world. I know that won’t last forever, so I’m trying to soak up every second of it And remain present.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My dad’s presence, love and constant support helped make me the optimistic, happy and successful person I am today. He showed me how much having a dad who believes in you can shape your entire life. To give that same gift to my child is the most rewarding and humbling privilege of my life. I strive to be the best dad I can be so he always knows that no matter where life takes him, his dad believes in him and will always be in his corner. Being Present is a both a Gift to receive and to give.
How would you use the $25,000?
We’d put it right back into our home and our growing family. We’d repair our crumbling driveway, replace our rotting deck and finally tackle a badly needed bathroom renovation. If anything was left, we’d add a small powder room upstairs. We hope to grow our family again, and making our home safer and more functional for our kids would be an incredible gift and I’d love to bring everyone along for the renovation through my content 😉
