Hearing my boys use my words from lessons past to each other and others in casual conversation, seeing them smile and hearing them laugh but most of all watching them overcome the obstacles they face with my advice when asked and seeing the pride they have over a job well done.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My oldest son was originally abused in various ways by his biological father, when I first met him at 4 years old he asked me to teach his daddy how to be a good daddy. When he was 5 he asked me to be his new daddy because his biological father succumbed to an overdose. I always do my best to be that good daddy he asked for 9 years ago for him and his little brother.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use it to help buy a bigger house for my family, and build the tree house my boys want.
