Recently, after getting off work following a long day, my son ran up to me and said, “Dada home!” That moment reminded me why I work double shifts: to make sure my family has a roof over their heads and a comfortable, secure place to call home.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Growing up without a father taught me how important stability, love, and support. That experience motivates me to strive to be the best dad I can be for my son. I want to be present in his life, guide him, encourage him, and provide the secure and loving home I did not have.
How would you use the $25,000?
We can comfortably afford a home, but the down payment has always been our biggest challenge. We want to keep our savings available for emergencies and unexpected expenses. Down payment assistance would allow us to become homeowners without sacrificing the financial security we’ve worked hard to build.
