Honestly, the most rewarding part is simply watching him grow. As a first-time dad, seeing my wife go through pregnancy and childbirth, then watching our son change from a newborn into this little person with his own smile, personality, and curiosity, has given me a deeper appreciation for life than I ever expected. Sometimes just watching him interact with the world makes me emotional. It’s hard to put into words how special it is.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I was blessed with an amazing father, and I know firsthand how much a good dad can shape a child’s life. So much of who I am today comes from what my dad poured into me. I want my son to be able to look back one day and feel the same way. My goal is to take everything I’ve learned, everything I’ve been given, and everything I am, and pour it into him so he has the chance to become an even better man than I am.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d put a meaningful portion toward building a project that helps new parents create healthier, more manageable routines so they can take care of themselves and be at their best for their families. I’d also invest in my son’s future through college savings and long-term investments. And I’d save a small part for an unforgettable trip with my wife—because without her, none of this exists, and I’d love to celebrate the incredible mother and partner she is.
