It’s the little things for me, hearing them laugh, seeing them accomplish something they struggled with, getting that random “I love you, Dad,” or realizing they picked up a lesson you taught them without even noticing. And maybe the deepest part is being someone your child knows they can always count on someone who makes them feel safe, loved, and capable. Watching my children discover the world and realizing you get to be part of that journey. Being able to give them things I didn’t have.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because my children are my legacy. Everything I do as a man eventually affects them, whether they see it or not. I want them to know what it looks like to have a father who shows up, keeps his word, protects them, teaches them, and loves them unconditionally. I didn’t become a father just to provide for them,I want to help shape the people they become. And when they look back one day, I want them to be able to say,”My dad gave me everything he had”That motivates me to keep becoming a better man.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d use the $25,000 to build a foundation for my kids’ future, not just spend it today. I’d put most of it somewhere it can grow over time, like education or long-term investments, while keeping a small portion for something that benefits them now. The goal would be to turn $25,000 into an opportunity they can build on for years to come.
