Being there for them in any capacity. Being able to watch my children sleep at night. After working my career, as a Barber/Stylist. I have the ability to bring them to work with me. Exposing them to entrepreneurship & letting their imagination/creativity run wild. I get to be in their world. Watch them grow as kids... see what type of business they would want to have one day. And through that we create new memories everyday. To me that is the rewarding part. Creating new memories & being there.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because I had a dad growing up, but my parents divorced at the age of 7yrs old. Then when I turn 13yrs old he stepped away until 8yrs later God told me to find him & tell him that I love him. So I did & we worked on our relationship. Five year later he passed away. After 10yrs of marriage & divorce for 5yrs. I want to give them more than I had growing up. I want to give them a Man of God ACTIVE FATHER. They didn't asked to be in this world. So I'm giving it my all til I draw my last breath.
How would you use the $25,000?
Being transparent, times have been difficult, but God has been so good to us. I've been working 3 jobs and a career to keep us a float. Facing eviction notice after eviction notice. But God, has worked things out to where I had to grow through that. What I would do, is move us in to our first home or a bigger apartment. My 1bedroom apt is getting small. My children would get better clothes, eyeglasses, healthcare, & put money to the side for them. I owe them so much, & they deserve so much more.
