Joy. Pure uncut joy. You can't know what it is until you've had children and it's a privilege to be able to experience. Subconsciously grinning at every thing they do and say. Swelling with pride when they accomplish something on their own. Feeling genuinely astonished at their ability to learn and create. As cheesy and corny as it all sounds, it couldn't be more true and it can not be replicated in any other way.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I have incredible parents and so does my wife. We both see how important their involvement in our lives was and how rare that can be. Both she and I want to be able to be there in the same ways for our children. It's a massive responsibility and the most important one in our lives now. As a dad, I'm so lucky to be able to look to mine for inspiration. Understanding the impact good parents can have and replicating how I was raised, is the best way to fulfill that responsibility to my daughters.
How would you use the $25,000?
Now that we have two beautiful girls, we're quickly outgrowing our current home. It's no secret that the housing market is crazy and this money would go a long way in enabling us to buy the house of our dreams. Our goal is to be able to give our daughters all the opportunities we had growing up and this money will provide us with the ability to achieve just that.
