The most rewarding part of being a dad is watching my family grow and realizing how blessed I am. I got married in December, and in September, my wife and I welcomed a child of our own. My wife also has a child from a previous marriage, who I love and have been blessed to be a father figure to. Being a dad to both of them and watching our family become one has been the greatest gift of my life.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best version of myself because I know my children are watching. I want them to see a dad who works hard, keeps pushing when life gets difficult, and never stops believing in himself or his family. This year changed my life—I got married in December and welcomed my son in September, while continuing to be a father figure to my wife’s child. Everything I do now is about building a life they can be proud of and showing them what it means to never give up.
How would you use the $25,000?
If I won $25,000, I would use it to give my family a stronger future. I would pay down our bills, put money aside for my children, and make improvements to our home. After getting married in December and welcoming my son in September, my priorities have completely changed. I want to build security for my family and create opportunities for my children that I may not have had. This money wouldn’t just help us today—it would be an investment in our future together.
