Being a stay at home dad I get to watch as my kids grow and learn. Every time my oldest runs to me with something new he's figured out, putting a shirt on, writing his letters or rebuilding his magna-tile tower stronger so it doesn't fall again. And the excitement the youngest shows when she finishes using the potty, opens a juice box or puts her shoes on. The 2 of them melt my heart with all their little victories!
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
One of the biggest things I want is for my kids to be happy. With so much negativity out there I want home to be a happy place. While I'm not always perfect, I want my kids to know they are able to come to me when they want to play, have something exciting to share about their day or need to talk about something that doesn't seem right in their world. I want to be that dad for them!
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use some of the money to pay down some debt and get some much needed home projects completed. Then I would take some to put into my children's college savings accounts to help ease that burden when the time comes. Then last I would take the family on a vacation. We just went on a Disney World trip so maybe we'll hit up Disneyland! This time with Lightning Lane passes for everyone!
