Seeing my kids grow and learn. From soccer, kayaking, knot tying, camping, fishing, kayaking, caving, robotics, repairs, 3d print/modeling, Radio communications, basic first aid, survival skills, and how to treat others well, I love seeing them grow. Helping them with projects and seeing how confident they have become from beginning to the end, that's what it's all about for me.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Above everything else, it's love! I love my kids. I'm a very curious person and I didn't have access to the information or tech that's available now. When my kids want to learn something I do everything I can to help them. The triplets changed our plans, but I had a worry, identical boys can be lumped into one and over looked. how do I help maintain their individualism. So we work at it. I had heard that children ask few info seeking questions as they grow. I want fix that with mine.
How would you use the $25,000?
I'd use it as a down payment on a house. We've been renting. We had the triplets while I was in school, so schooling took longer, I graduated near covid so job hunting took longer, and now our "starter home" needs 4 bedrooms minimum. that money would help us get into a home we can afford and fit into.
