Being a dad to an autistic non verbal daughter and her making a sound of “Tah” when she’s having a rough day. Or when I have a rough day at work, and being greeted by my daughter and 2 dogs with happy smiles and jumps.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I want my daughter to live the best life she can. Without the ability to interact with other kids or adults like “normal” people can, I want her to feel safe and included.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the 25k to make our home more organized. Or upgrade our air conditioning unit. Currently it’s an older model which uses the R22 Freon.
