Being their superhero and the person they want to be like and spend time with. The excitement when you come home from and they run to the door to greet you. Watching the little person they are growing into and the personalities they begin to form and the new things they learn every day and the lessons and memories you get to make with them.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I want to lead by example for the type of man I want my son to grow to be and the type of man my daughter will one day marry. I want my children to look back on their childhoods and remember me as a father who always loved them, loved their mother, cared for them, and did his best every day. I want my son to remember the action figure battles after work and my daughter to remember giving her dad makeovers on the weekends.
