Being able to teach my daughter to be the best she can be, and being proud to watch her achieve her goals. My kindness rubs off on her and she has the biggest heart. To watch her offer someone less fortunate than her something makes me feel like I’m doing right. And just knowing she can depend on me no matter what to her is everything. She always tells me she wants to be like me. I tell her I want you to be the best version of you.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because my dad was there, but wasn’t there for me the way I needed him to be. He was sick most of his life and gave up on himself. That was a horrible feeling to me not having him available. I don’t want my daughter to think or see me give up on myself. I strive everyday to be the best version of me and let her know she can accomplish anything and be anything she wants to be knowing I support her no matter what. I want my daughter to be proud I’m her dad.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would put half of it in an account for her for college and the other half to help get my own place for us to live.
