The most rewarding part of being a father is watching them grow, learn and trust me in their lives. Watching them smile, laugh, cry and being there to guide them through every step. I’m building men and women to shape our future when I’m gone. I love to see them smile when their hard work gets noticed. I love to hold them when pain comes their way. Being a present father and having sound mind and capabilities to lead is a huge reward. Most importantly, they are my biggest accomplishment in life.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best father I can , because I don’t have mine. I’m the father I never had. My children will never know the pain I felt from an absent father who lied and betrayed my brothers , sisters and myself. I strive to be the best father to my children, because there is no other option.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the money I would receive if I won the contest, to help each one of my children reach obtainable goals here now and in the near future. I have a senior in high school, a son that’s looking to have a baseball future, a son that is a swimmer, a son that plays travel youth football and two daughters that have dance and cheer aspirations. I would also support them in their Youth Activities at our church home.
