The most rewarding part of being a dad is watching my children grow into their own unique, incredible people and knowing I get to help shape their journey. It’s the hugs, the laughter, the little conversations, and simply being present. Fatherhood has taught me that success isn’t measured by what I achieve for myself, but by the love, strength, values, and memories I give my children—and knowing they’ll always have a dad who shows up.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my children deserve a father who leads by example, loves without limits, and is always present. I want them to grow up knowing they are valued, protected, and capable of anything. Every sacrifice, lesson, laugh, and memory matters. One day, they’ll build lives of their own, and I hope the love and values I give them today become the foundation they carry forward.
How would you use the $25,000?
As a single dad rebuilding after divorce, I’d use the $25,000 to turn healing into purpose. I’d grow my nonprofit to support fathers and families, launch my book about healing and rebuilding after divorce, and create meaningful experiences with my kids through travel, service, and adventure. I want them to see that hard seasons don’t define us—how we rise, what we give, and the legacy we build for others does.
