The most rewarding part about being a Father is the love and fulfillment that I receive by honoring what God has called us to do, in this case is being a devoted Father to Ezra and Husband to Kenzie. Honoring and following His commands has filled gaps in my life that have transformed the way that I carry myself & see others around me. Knowing that I’v been equipped with the qualities and skills to show Ezra how to be a God fearing man, as God has done for me, is rewarding in its own.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad because I know what it is to grow up without a father, an only parent who worked 3 jobs daily to provide for our home while sacrificing time with me & missing my child and young adulthood. I make it my mission to break those generational chains of my past, as others in my situation, and have constructed a solid foundation in my way of life where work/life balance has been a major priority, including living a life of faith & fitness; encouraging others along the way.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would like to use the money to pay off debt that has had my home tied up while using anything remaining to reinvest into my first barbershop/ business for our family. Thus, from that money, I would ignite a journey of creating generational wealth for my family for when my time comes to leave this world, as my wife is a stay at home mom, freelancer & home school teacher to Ezra. As the sole provider and head of this home, winning this would be a giant leap forward to my current plans.
