Seeing your kids grow into there own personalities, reaching milestones that as a parent looks surprising at the age that they do it, being the person they run to when they’re scared excited or proud and realizing you had a hand on who they become.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Growing up without a dad, I strive to be the father I wish I had. I’ve learned that being a good dad isn’t just about being present. It’s about being loving, patient, caring, consistent, and willing to learn. My kids teach me things too through their feelings, their voices, and the way they see the world. For me, being the best dad means giving them what I didn’t have while growing and learning alongside them.
How would you use the $25,000?
If I were selected, I would use the money to create meaningful experiences and memories with my children while also helping with things they need. I’d put it toward activities, outings, and opportunities that allow us to spend quality time together and strengthen our bond. As a father, some of the greatest things I can give my children are my time, my presence, and experiences they’ll remember long after the money is gone.
