The most rewarding part is watching my kids become their own people while knowing I had a hand in helping them get there. It’s the bedtime conversations, adventures, teaching them something new, hearing them laugh, and simply being the person they know will always show up. Fatherhood has taught me that the little moments become the memories that matter most.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my kids deserve more than someone who simply provides for them. They deserve someone who is present, dependable, hardworking, and willing to lead by example. I want them to see that life can be difficult without letting that stop you. I work hard, I’m going back to school to build a better career, and I’m constantly working on our home and future. I want my kids to know they are loved, supported, and capable of becoming whatever they choose.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the $25,000 to invest directly into my family and our home. We’re turning an old laundry room into a bedroom for our teenager and converting his current room into a nursery. The money would help us finish those spaces properly, create a comfortable home for our kids, and ease the financial pressure of this transition. I’m also going back to school to build a better career and future for my family. I wouldn’t just spend it—I’d use it to build something lasting.
