Watching little moments become big memories. Sometimes it’s a vacation or a milestone, but usually it’s something completely ordinary a car ride, laughing at dinner, or a conversation I didn’t know mattered until one of my kids brings it up years later. Knowing I get to be part of the memories they’ll carry through life is probably the greatest reward I could ever ask for.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because one day my kids won’t need me the way they do today. They’ll have their own lives, their own families, and their own challenges. When that day comes, I want them to look back and know one thing without ever questioning it: Dad showed up. Not perfectly, but consistently. I want the way I love them today to become part of the way they love, parent, and treat others tomorrow.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d spend some of it, save some of it, and turn the rest into memories. I could give my kids $25,000 someday, but I’d rather give them stories they’ll still be telling when they’re 50. I’d take them somewhere we’ve never been, do things we’ve always talked about doing, and probably say “yes” a little more than usual. The rest would go toward their futures. Money eventually gets spent. A great childhood becomes part of who you are.
