The most rewarding part of being a dad is knowing I get to help shape the two boys who call me a Dad. Watching them grow, learn, laugh, and become their own people is something I'll never take for granted. I know they're watching how I love, work, handle challenges, and treat others, so being their dad pushes me to be a better man every day. My greatest accomplishment will always be raising them.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because I know what it feels like to grow up without a father present. Instead of letting that define me, I use it as motivation to give my boys everything I wish I had: a dad who shows up, listens, supports them, and loves them unconditionally. I want them to always know that no matter where life takes them, their dad will always be right there beside them.
How would you use the $25,000?
If I won the $25,000, I’d use part of it to take my boys on a trip and create memories they’ll never forget. I’d also use some of it to help boys who may not have a father or positive male role model in their lives. Whether through mentoring, sports, school supplies, or special experiences, I’d want to show them that someone believes in them and that their future can be bigger than their circumstances.
