Watching them become themselves. Seeing their personality emerge, their humor, interests, kindness, and quirks is often one of the greatest joys of parenthood. At the same time, being a dad can be exhausting, frustrating, and full of uncertainty. The rewarding moments don't erase the hard ones—they often make them feel worthwhile. Many fathers find that the deepest satisfaction comes not from being perfect, but from consistently showing up: listening, encouraging, and being there for them.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because being a dad is one of the greatest responsibilities and privileges I have. I strive to be the best dad I can be because I want my children to feel loved, supported, safe, and confident in who they are. I want to lead by example, teach them the value of kindness, honesty, hard work, and resilience, and be someone they know they can always count on. Ultimately, I hope that when they look back, they remember not that I was perfect, but that I was present, and that I loved them deeply.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the money to pay off debt, as well as a down payment on a house for them to grow up in. I want to give them a place that they can make the rooms they have theirs without worrying about landlords. I want them to have a yard to play in with each other and their dog.
