The most rewarding part is knowing I get to be their safe place, their biggest supporter, and the person they can always count on. Watching my three kids grow into their own unique personalities and knowing I get to help shape the people they become is something no career, accomplishment, or paycheck could ever match. At the end of the day, nothing means more to me than hearing, “Dad!” and knowing that, to them, I’m home.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because my kids are watching not just what I say, but how I live. I want my son and daughters to grow up knowing what it means to love fiercely, work hard, keep your word, and get back up when life knocks you down. I know I won’t get every moment right, but I want them to look back someday and know their dad gave them everything he had and never stopped showing up for them.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d use it to create more security and opportunities for my three kids building their savings, investing in their education and experiences, and giving them memories they’ll carry long after childhood. $25,000 could buy a lot of things, but I’d want to turn it into something more valuable: a stronger foundation for their future and more unforgettable time together while they’re still young.
