The most rewarding part about my journey as a dad is seeing the values that I instilled in my kids while they were young now begin to produce a harvest of positive character traits that are serving them well as they take their first steps into adulthood.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because if I don't set the example and model what true manhood, and fatherhood looks like, then someone or something else WILL become that example. Too many of our youth don't have a positive dad that are not only examples/role models, but are also leaders in the home AND in society. I want my kids to have the confidence and the character traits to eventually step into a role of leadership and I'm starting to see that in them now.
How would you use the $25,000?
I've never fully pursued my dream of establishing a career as a regional touring artist/musician and sickle cell warrior/advocate. $25,000 would go a LONG way toward real financial investing and making it become something more than an expensive hobby!
