Recently I took my family to open house and my 2 year old became incredibly shy around so many people so he clung to the back of my leg the entire time. Knowing I’m his safe space made me realize I have a much more significant meaning in this world than I could ever imagine. Feeling little arms hug my neck and soft voices calling me “dada” has been the most rewarding experience that I’ve had in life. Creating memories and enjoying the little things like playing together is the most rewarding
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I had a rough childhood and a very difficult relationship with my mother. My Dad was not perfect by any means but he was my only source of inspiration as a man and if I had not had him I would have been in a very bad place. 2 of my 4 children are not biologically mine but I raise them everyday and see them as my own. They are my first kids and will always have a special place in my heart. I do my best to give them the Dad they deserve and make all the sacrifices
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use most of the money to help pay down the mini van and try to pay my truck down to the point that I can refinance and have a reasonable monthly payment. We have been struggling for so long to make the monthly payments and it’s been hard on my wife so if I can take stress off her I will. I would save as much as I can for Christmas so my kids can have nice gifts not just “reasonable” gifts because they are such good kids and deserve it. I would take them to eat at the Mexican restaurant
