I love talking and thinking about her. My energy changes if her name is mentioned. Her eyes are always on me. With that in mind I’m constantly making a better example for her and for myself. The man I’ve became is a reward. Living the life I’ve always wanted through discipline. I’ve never had a routine before her but she came and a metamorphosis occurred. Every single day we spend together is the reward. It’s something no one in this world can take from me.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I’ve had great examples of great Fathers in my life and also not so great. My step-father came into my life when I was 10 years old. I’ve never loved another man as much as him. He loved me unconditionally. Taught me how while still learning his self. He took classes and made an effort to be in every aspect of my life. He’s the real #SuperDad and I aim to do what he did for me and my brother. He’s my biological Father, but Melvin Amondo Dickerson is why I strive to be the best Father I can be.
How would you use the $25,000?
25k is a lot of money to me. If I was awarded this I would buy my first home for us. I want to go back to school. It’s another example I want to set as a Father. I would hire an experienced fiduciary. I don’t want to lose the money either if awarded. Education, savings and financial literacy is my focus and 25k would be more then enough to achieve these objectives or obstacles that currently ahead of me.
