The most rewarding part is watching Emme become her own little person and knowing I’m one of her safe places. The everyday moments—making her breakfast, taking walks, hearing her laugh, or getting that hug after a long day—mean everything to me. Soon I’ll also get to watch her become a big sister and see our family grow.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can because my children deserve the safest, happiest childhood I can give them. I want them to grow up knowing their dad always showed up—after long shifts, on hard days, and for the little moments that become the biggest memories. If they always feel loved, protected, and supported, I’ll know I did my job.
How would you use the $25,000?
With our second baby arriving soon, I would use the $25,000 to give our growing family more security. I’d put it toward making our home work better for two little kids, building their savings for the future, and giving my wife a little breathing room during the newborn months. It wouldn’t change who we are, but it would make this next chapter a lot less stressful.
