The most rewarding part is seeing them become independent. Taking risks, owning their mistakes and learning from them. I learned from my dad to be generous with love and share my gifts with the world. I do my best to instill this in them also. As my boys grow and mature, they are discovering and developing their gifts and skills. I love seeing their passions emerge and seeing how they want to share them with every opportunity they get.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I was given an advantage in life from the parents I had and the sisters I was raised with. It's my duty to be the best dad I can be to give my boys as much of an advantage in life as I can so that they can go on and do and be whatever it is they're willing to work for. To carry on a legacy of love that was left to me by my parents.
How would you use the $25,000?
If I won the $25,000 I would use it to continue to share my gifts and skills with the world however possible. By sharing meals, building things for friends and neighbors, and providing my boys with better opportunities in life by more freely exploring their interests and passions.
