Watching my 3 sons grow into his own person is by far the most rewarding part of being a dad. It’s knowing that the little things I do every day—being there, teaching my boys, laughing with them,and supporting the 3 can have an impact on the men they become. There’s no paycheck, award, or accomplishment that compares to hearing “Dad” and knowing I get the privilege of being that person for my kiddos.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can because my boys is always watching, even when I don’t realize it. I want to show them what it means to work hard, keep your word, treat people right, and take care of your family. I’m definitely not a perfect dad, but I want them to always know that I showed up, loved my family,supported them,and did everything I could to give my sons a good example to follow.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d use the $25,000 to do something every dad wants to do—make life a little better for his family. I’d take care of some things around our home, put money away for my son’s future, and use a portion to create a family experience we’ll remember for the rest of our lives. Winning would be exciting, but for me the best part would be turning that money into something that benefits the people I work hard for every day—my family.
