The most rewarding thing about being a dad is simply having the opportunity to be one—to be present, provide for my family, and give my boys a life filled with love, support, and opportunity. I love being able to teach them the value of hard work, perseverance, kindness, and responsibility, but also remind them that it’s okay to have fun, make mistakes, and be themselves. Watching them grow into their own personalities, learning from them, and knowing what I do is shaping their future.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my boys deserve the best version of me. Being their dad is one of the greatest responsibilities and privileges of my life, and I want to make sure they always know how deeply they are loved and supported. I want to lead by example and show them the importance of hard work, perseverance, accountability, kindness, and resilience. I want them to understand that success doesn’t come without effort. I will continue to show up and be the best dad I can be.
How would you use the $25,000?
The best way we’d use this money would be to invest in our boys ‘ future, as well as the present. The future consists of money for their education and a “starting fund”, for whatever they’ll need. However, the present would consist of lessons, sports, camps, tutoring, travel, books, and hands-on experiences. We believe these experiences can help them develop confidence, discipline, curiosity, and practical skills.
