The most rewarding part about being a dad is seeing the smiles on their faces. To be able to watch them grow up and develop first before my eyes. The quality time being spent with them doing the most basic things brings me joy. I was in a car accident with a drunk driver back in 2008. About 4 days after the accident I found out my girlfriend was 2months pregnant! If the driver would have been in the correct lane, I wouldn’t have been able to meet my daughter. TIME IS EVERYTHING. I Love My Kids.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because there are some kids that don’t have that. Everyone child needs a father figure in their life whether it’s an uncle, coach pastor, etc. I strive to be the person my kids look up to and the person they feel comfortable to talk to about any situation in life. I don’t want the streets to raise my kids or them to be influenced easily by anyone. I’d like to continue to be the positive example for them and other kids. That way they’ll be able to teach theirs
How would you use the $25,000?
With the 25k, I will plan for their future and have a way for them to stay together in the future. I would use a portion of it to continue the renovation of my great grandparents home that was started by some shady contractors that were hired after my grandfather passed away. This home has been in our family for over 110yrs. I would like to see it continue to be a staple of togetherness for our family. My grandfather taught me everything I know. I would like to honor him by continuing his work.
