The most rewarding part about being a dad is knowing I can make a difference in a person’s life through my experience. I usually tell them that older people like myself are trying to give them the best knowledge they know because they have lived through most of it and that what they are experiencing is nothing new. People like myself don't want to give bad advice but the best that they can to help them along the way.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
To see a person achieve something no matter what the situation is makes someone like me feel that life has a meaning at an older age. To me knowledge has been passed down through generations, and caring for people making there way only helps reinforce what they decide. This helping also helps their parents understand thats things sometimes takes a while, that the bond stays strong and patience is the key. My wife and I have been doing this since my boys were born and I are so blessed with both.
How would you use the $25,000?
This would help my wife and I have a comfortable retirement, help my son's and their partner's continue to achieve their goals. Happy people normally spread happiness to others, and with this they too can start helping other's find their happiness and success. When money isn't a priority it's so much easier to give back to the community if they understand that giving is the most rewarding.
