The most rewarding part of being a dad is watching each of my kids grow in their own way. Seeing my oldest learn new things, conquer new task & crush it in gymnastics. Watching my second keep trying harder each day walking after such a tough journey. Seeing my baby boy’s personality flourish more every day. Honestly, nothing beats seeing the wonder in their eyes as they experience something new. Making them happy, taken care of, hearing them laugh, & getting to be there for all of it!
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my kids deserve it. They deserve someone they can always count on. I want them to grow up knowing they are loved, safe, supported, protected, and encouraged to be themselves. More than anything, I want to give them a childhood I never had. Full of love, happy memories & be the kind of dad they’ll always know is there for them.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the money to make life safer, easier, and more fun for our 3 kids. A reliable minivan that fits all of us safely would be life changing, along with new car seats & a better playpen for home & travel. I’d also repair & secure our backyard with a gate, trampoline, & pool if possible. I’d put some into each child’s savings account too. I started one for each of them when they were born, & I’d love to contribute more while giving them a safe, happy childhood full of memories.
