Their little laughs, their smiles and watching their personalities grow day after day bring out the best in me. I love giving them new experiences through adventures, coaching, crafts and building things together, then watching them discover what they’re capable of. Seeing them be kind to others, make friends and interact with the world in a positive way lets me know I’m doing something right. Nothing fills my heart more than their hugs and hearing, “I love you, Dada, to the moon and back!”
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My actions today will reverberate into their lives and futures, so I strive to lead by example and be the best dad I can be—in the fun moments and hard ones. Through sick days, setbacks and celebrations, I want them to feel loved every day and learn to put kindness and positivity into the world. I’m proud of who they’re becoming and grateful I get to help them grow. Someday, I hope they look back on a happy childhood full of great memories and know their dad loved them with all his heart.
How would you use the $25,000?
I wouldn’t be a dad without my amazing wife and three kids, so this win would be theirs too! I honestly don’t think I’d keep any of it for myself. I’d put some toward my kids’ education and our family’s future, tackle bills and much-needed projects around the house, then take my family on an unforgettable vacation—maybe Disney! $25,000 may not go as far as it once did, but I’d make sure every dollar went toward the people and home that mean everything to me.
