Teaching my son how to be a good person. Helping him become the person I wish someone helped me become. Seeing his progress and watching him choose kindness over bitterness. Watching him grow into the person I know he can be. And just seeing my kids smile and laugh. There is nothing better than to just sit back and watch them play and laugh together. Also a lot of the things I barely notice, I see him pick up on like kindness, humility, courage and humor. I love seeing what he notices & takes on
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad because growing up my dad was a great dad, but I learned a some poor habits from him. I’m doing my best to show my kids how to live correctly and how to treat others with kindness and respect. I just want to do better than what was done for me. Ultimately I believe that’s all we want for our kids~ for them to have better and be better than ourselves. I’m the sole person responsible for how my son will end up being. So I’ve got to be there and do better for him.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use it for home repairs we desperately need. A new mower so we have a better way to mow our land. I’d continue to build the homestead of my wife & kid’s dreams. We work on a very limited income after our bills so I do my best with what I have. This money could give us the boost we need to get things we need for the home and homestead. End goal is providing food for our community. We want to provide not only for ourselves but for others. This is what I teach my kids. To be of service
