The most rewarding part of being a dad is seeing my positive influence show up in my children in their behavior, choices, emotional regulation, faith, and the way they treat others. I love hearing them repeat things I’ve taught them, knowing they recognize my voice and understand the importance of knowing Jesus. I especially love watching them try new things, make mistakes, and then come back to me for guidance and help.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because I want to be a generational curse breaker. I have four children who look up to me. I understand that being a father is bigger than biology. It is about showing up, being consistent, being present, and being someone my children can trust. I want to be a positive male role model who shows them that strength can look love, honesty, patience, accountability, and knowing when to set healthy boundaries.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the $25,000 in three meaningful ways: establish trust funds for all four of my children, take my wife on a special vacation to create memories together, and build a creative workspace/man cave where I can make art, recharge, and have a space of my own. I’m not a party person; I value creativity, peace, family, and purpose. This would allow me to invest in my children’s future, my marriage, and myself.
